No disrespect to Nicole Anderson or anything, but we’re pretty sure the 18-year-old actress just landed the Easiest Role Of All Time. After all, what ELSE would you call playing the Jo Bros‘ “#1 fan” on the upcoming Nick series, J.O.N.A.S.!?

Yep, Nicole — who will (ahem) *pretend* to be head-over-heels in love with Nick, Joe and Kevin as “Superfan” Macy Misa — joins fellow teenybopper Chelsea Staub on the list of People We Wish Were Us. But before you write the Disney Channel an angry letter complaining they picked the wrong gal, you might wanna take a quick look at her stellar credentials. See, unlike you, Nicole has:

+ Guest-starred on iCarly, Zoey 101 and Hannah Montana.
+ Mastered the are of looking (a) gorgeous, (b) sophisticated, and (c) photogenic in that totally relatable I’m-not-like-that-but-I-know-people-who-are sorta way. (See: photographic proof, above).
+ Proven that she can sit beside the Jonas Brothers without squealing/yelling/clawing uncontrollably. (See: photographic proof, below).

Also? Girl’s a pigtail-loving vegetarian who does a wicked British/Middle Eastern/Southern accent — and already has her (2028?) presidential campaign all planned out. (Overachiever, much??)

So feel free to hate on Nicole for stealing your dream role, but remember this: Disney picked her for a reason. That said, if any networks out there are ever in need of a wild-eyed/starstruck young girl to play the President Of Bill Kaulitz’s Fan Club, have your people call our people ASAP.

In the series, Joe, along with Nick and Kevin, star as three rock star brothers trying to lead a normal life. They live in New Jersey with their parents Tom and Sandy, as well as lil bro Frankie.

Chelsea stars as Stella Malone, the brothers’ BFF and fashion maven and Nicole Anderson plays Macy Misa, JONAS’s self-proclaimed number one fan.

JONAS will premiere on Disney Channel in the Spring.

The cast of JONAS stick close together at the 2009 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday morning (January 16).

Joe Jonas, Nicole Anderson, Kevin Jonas, Chelsea Staub, and Nick Jonas put on their best smiles to talk about their new series, premiering on Disney Channel in the spring.

In JONAS, the brothers star as Nick, Kevin and Joe Lucas who try to lead normal lives by attending private school, Horace Mantis Academy.

Universal City Walk Cancellation

I am SO incredibly sorry, but due to a change in my work schedule I’ll be unable to attend the American Idol Kickoff Party Wednesday, January 14th. :( I am so, very very sorry. JONAS star Nicole Anderson dished to BOP! about the upcoming season: Tell us about your character Macy: ‘She is the boys’ No. 1 fan and she’s a huge jock. She has to be the best at everything at school, the JONAS fan site, and she’s best friends with Stella.’

What’s been the funniest scene to film to star? ‘Joe gets put into a trash can, so he had lettuce dumped on him and a banana peel on top of his head. He had to get the lettuce dumped on him over and over, it was funny.’

Does your character have a favorite Lucas Brother? ‘She is pretty much obsessed with all of them and for completely different reasons. Like, Nick smells like cookies and Kevin has shiny hair. Oh no, ‘Kevin smells like Kevin’ that’s what she says.

How did you meet Chelsea? ‘We met at an acting class and we hit it off right away. She’s been my good friend ever since. We actually competed against each other for the role of Stella, and it came down to us two. She ended up getting the role and they came back later and said they wanted me to
audition for Macy.’
